Tipping for Your Session
Let's Talk About It
Is tipping expected?
Tipping is always appreciated but never expected. I understand that everyone's financial situation is different, and I've structured my pricing to be fair and accessible without relying on tips.
If I choose to tip, what's an appropriate amount?
If you decide to tip, any amount you're comfortable with is appreciated. In the bodywork industry, tips typically range from 15-20% of the service price. However, please don't feel pressured to follow this if it doesn't align with your budget or comfort level.
How does tipping work with your sliding scale pricing?
The sliding scale is designed to make care more financially accessible. If you're paying a reduced rate, please don't feel obligated to tip. If you're able to pay the full rate or donor rate and wish to show additional appreciation, tipping is welcome.
What if I can't afford to tip?
Please don't tip if you can't afford it. Your presence and commitment to your well-being are what matter most. Please don't let concerns about tipping prevent you from booking a session or returning for care.
Is it okay if I don't tip every time?
Absolutely. Your financial situation and preferences may vary from session to session. Please make the choice that feels right for you each time.
Can I show appreciation in ways other than tipping?
Definitely! While financial tips are appreciated, your feedback, referrals to friends, and simply returning for future sessions are all wonderful ways to show your appreciation.
I'm anxious about tipping norms. What should I do?
I understand that tipping can cause anxiety, especially if you're unsure about expectations. Please know that there's no judgment here. If you're comfortable, we can have an open conversation about it. My goal is for you to feel at ease and focus on your session and well-being.
